Again, I'm holding steady. Although I know that this is not the weight I want to be at, I have gotten too comfortable. Last Friday, I knew I needed to change things up and that was one of the reasons why I decided to try Zumba. I have started my running program and it has been interesting and I'm trying my best to get in touch with my inner Kenyan. ;-) I know that I need to increase my exercise and buckle down on the food. My "birthday week" was crazy with the eating out, the cake and ice cream. I also felt like crap afterwards. I cannot eat like that anymore.
- Journal consistently. I need to buckle down!
- Exercise. I plan to go to the gym 3 times this week and to Zumba on Wednesday.
- Water, water, water...Gotta drink it. I've been so bloated and it ain't funny anymore. The husband was making an issue of my "cankles" Friday night. Drink water, watch my sodium.
- Pack my lunches, although I do this already, I have to make sure to add some variety. I've noticed I'm getting bored.
- Plan. I have to plan my meals. Eating out is not a good thing. I have to realize that I cannot eat out. I have to cook my meals at home if I want to reach my goal.

Good plan! Weight loss is just like a project at work. Gotta work on it everyday or you on;t meet the 'deadline.' Thanks for the reminder!
It's wonderful that you KNOW you're making progress on the health front, even as you're waiting for the pesky scale to play catch-up. It helps the motivation when that scale-disappointment creeps in. Keep hanging in there!
Your goals sound good. Stick to 'em, and I know you'll see results. :) Good luck!
It is great that you are setting up a to-do list for success. One other great way to be prepared is to come up with a game plan for failure. Basically, if you don't want to do something or fall off the wagon how are you going to get back on. A friend and I are taking a trip and in order to stay on track we actually have a "fine" that we pay into our trip piggy bank! It helps a lot.
Also, love the pictures in the Lavendar. It reminds me of Bluebonnet season in Texas. You will see hundreds of cars on the side of the road where people have stopped to take family portraits!
Yes,keep to your goals! Getting side tracked and having off days doesn't help much with the overall goal! Stay with it.
